The Child Welfare Trauma
Training Toolkit

The third edition of the CWTTT was updated and released in March 2020 by the TIPs Center in collaboration with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). The CWTTT is a training series designed to support the infusion of trauma-informed knowledge and skills into child welfare organizational cultures, at all levels and among all roles, resulting in positive sustainable changes in the policies, programs, and practices which lead to better outcomes for children and families served by these systems. It is a publicly available and can be downloaded for free. In addition to the training curricula, there is also a Tips for Facilitators and an Implementation Guide to support systems and facilitator's in implementing and delivering the CWTTT.

    The Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit (3rd ed.) was released on the NCTSN Learning Center  in April 2020!

    To access the Facilitator Guides, Slidekits and Participant Manuals, first go to learn.nctsn.org and click "Register" to create a free account. Once you have created an account, you may find The Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit curricula by using the search bar or by visiting the section for the Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit on the Service Systems Page.
